Privacy Policy
Your data, simply explained.
Last updated: February 2025
The short version: We collect only what we need, we don't sell your information, and we respect that movement data is deeply personal.
What we collect now
RouteReveal is currently in early development. The only information we collect at this stage is:
- Email addresses — If you sign up for early access or updates, we store your email to contact you about RouteReveal's launch.
- Contact form messages — If you reach out through our contact form, we retain your name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.
That's it. No tracking pixels, no analytics, no cookies beyond what's essential for the site to function.
What we'll collect when the product launches
When RouteReveal becomes a functioning product, we'll need to process GPS and movement data to provide the service. This will include location data from your activities—information that is inherently sensitive.
Our approach will be:
- Your data stays yours. We won't sell, share, or monetize your movement history. Ever.
- Minimal collection. We'll only process what's necessary to provide the features you're using.
- Clear controls. You'll be able to delete your data at any time.
We'll publish a comprehensive privacy policy before launch that details exactly what we collect, how we store it, and how you can manage it.
How we protect your information
Email addresses and contact messages are stored securely. We use industry-standard practices to protect against unauthorized access.
Your rights
You can request to see, correct, or delete any information we have about you at any time. Just email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
As RouteReveal develops, this policy will evolve. We'll notify anyone on our mailing list of significant changes before they take effect.
Questions?
